My wife got in touch with Jeff regarding a couple rooms worth of painting at our new house. He gave an initial quote over the phone, but was more than willing to work around our schedules to come by and give a more accurate number (we had a couple of rooms we wanted non-standard stuff, like blocking done). The pricing was competitive with a few other places we looked at. I think we called on Monday and they were painting by Thurs. We were secretly hoping to find someone that could get it done before Saturday, since we were moving in (so he scored bonus points with us). They were short a man on Thursday, but due to our extra stuff, it was going to take two days anyways. The crew (including Jeff) did a good job of policing splotches / drips. I think I have one tiny touch up I have to do (my wife would tell you I'm OCD and no one else would notice). I would use Jeff and Matchless Interior Painting in the future.

Jeff painted our "new to us" home from top to bottom. We had him do the ceilings, trim, doors, built ins and kitchen cabinets. We are extremely pleased with the job he did. He and his entire team were professional, prompt, detail oriented and helpful. If I had a concern, he was very kind and receptive about getting it taken care of. He also took it upon himself to try and work with our tile guy to try and shave a few days off our remodel process. The kitchen cabinets he painted had a few defective hinges, and he found exact replacements after visiting several stores throughout the Austin area. If you want a painting job done well and priced reasonably, there is no one I could recommend more highly than Jeff from Matchless. When I contacted him about an estimate for our condo, he was very flexible in his time for coming by. He worked around my floor guy's schedule and was there until late one night so he could finish up. He did our walls, cabinets and wood around doors. No mess to clean up afterwards, either. Jeff and his team worked on a painting project in my house earlier this summer. This was a big size project as we were painting the entire living area, ceiling, dining area, half-bathroom , master bedroom and master bathroom (first floor) and game room and the guest bathroom (second floor). There were a few things which made this project challenging: Our home has high ceiling (20 ft) and there was wall-paper in the kitchen , dining area, master bathroom and the guest bathrooms. Many painters do not bother removing the wallpaper and instead just paint over them. Jeff and his team showed a lot of patience in getting the wallpaper out and preparing the surface (texture) before painting those areas. The entire project lasted eight days - The team showed up on time every single day. All the painters were very polite, respectful and professional. We are very happy with their work and will recommend Matchless painting wholeheartedly to all our friends.
